1. Willful Creatures by Aimee Bender
I love Aimee Bender and I want to read more short stories.
2. New York 2140 by Kim Stanley Robinson
Kim Stanley Robinson does amazing world-building that I would one day love to emulate.
3. Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman
I want to read more short stories to focus on how to plot them better.
4. Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin
Ursula K. Le Guin is one of the queens of sci-fi and I want to read more of her work
5. Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
I bought this book over a year ago, and I really want to read it, and it’s light and easy to carry on planes.
6. Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan
I also have been waiting to read this book. It sounds fun.
7. Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
This book is supposed to be really good and for once a fantasy novel not set in medieval Europe.
8. Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
Leigh Bardugo is the queen of YA world-building.
9. Maybe more if I actually manage to read more than twenty pages of these books.
